I was listening to BBC 2 at lunchtime today and the discussion was about Hypochondria which is also referred to as "Health Anxiety" It was interesting to note that some Doctors have said that patients who have thought that they have a disease without symptoms have eventually gained the symptoms. We all know that if we tell ourselves enough "we can't " do something then it's unlikely that we're able to do that task. Likewise we know that positive thought has a positive impact. It also shows that you should choose your thoughts carefully if it is possible that you think you have an illness when you don't have the symptoms and then it manifests. Alternatively on a positive note it also shows that if you are diagnosed and you have positive thoughts you may be able to reverse this - it's definitely worth thinking about - choose your thoughts carefully!
